MYSTERYGUESTS.CO.UK - HOW WE WORK The methods we adopt, and the manner in which we exploit them, will depend entirely upon your requirements. Your requirement might be for an intensive and highly focused investigation within one hotel, restaurant, shop or bar, in order to gain evidence of internal theft or fraud; or a more soft focus campaign involving every outlet on your estate, in order to benchmark standards of service. Or a combination of both. Whatever your needs, we will fulfil them, using any one, or a combination of, the methods as outlined below. THE MYSTERY GUEST AS - A GUESTAttending your hotel or restaurant, ostensibly as bona-fide guests, either individually, in pairs, or as a family group, we will undertake surveillance and generate same day reports. The focus of the reports produced for you will be determined by your requirements. Please view our Mystery Guest Reports page for details of how we document our findings. Our agents can adopt a low key profile and discreetly monitor points of sale and cash handling practices, or evaluate standards of service. Conversely, should you require, agents can consciously adopt a more 'hard-to-please' stance for the purpose of testing the professionalism and integrity of your employees. Agents attending hotels as mystery guests will routinely carry micro video cameras and recording equipment and any other necessary surveillance equipment for the purpose of capturing evidence of internal theft, unless the client company instructs us otherwise. Covert monitoring equipment will be used only with the express permission of the client; it will not be used for any purpose other than for capturing instances of theft, fraud or other crime unless the client instructs us to the contrary. THE MYSTERY GUEST - UNDERCOVERNotwithstanding our name, our services are not confined solely to Mystery Guests agents taking on the roles of guests. Where deemed appropriate, practicable and desirable by the client company, Mystery Guest Agents will adopt the guise of bona-fide employees within the client organisation for intelligence gathering purposes. This facility is particularly useful for longer term assignments, where the focus of any investigation is on internal theft, fraud or some other crime. In common with those Mystery Guests agents who adopt the roles of guests, those who are actually employed within the client company will be equipped with micro camera and related surveillance equipment for the purpose of capturing evidence of theft or other crimes. Where practicable in these circumstances, reports will be generated and made available for clients to view online, on a daily basis. It is not impossible that the last time you stayed at an hotel, that the bartender, waiter, waitress or receptionist who attended to you and impressed you so much, was in fact a Mystery Guests Agent.....
